I will tell you why India is lacking behind from China? Let's start.

Most of the industry and factory prefer China. China is the first preference for setting factory.

In 1990 China's global manufacturing output by value is 3% and in 2018 it reached to 25%. One nation is producing 25% of global                 

manufacturing output by value. How it is happening? Today China is producing globally: 80% of air conditioner

45% of ships and 

50% of steel. 

In 2017 with economy of $23.25 trillion China became 2nd largest economy. With $2.2 trillion export China became no. 1 leader in export. 

People think there China only make cheap products. Let me tell you sir,

China do very massive production which lead to decrease in cost of production. So low cost items are produced and when China brings that item in market it capture most of the market. If it is compared with India. India before 1990 there are small scale policy. Now it can't produce large like China. India don't know properly how to scale up? 

2. COMPETITIVE PRICING WITH REVERSE MANUFACTURING

China is expert in reverse manufacturing. Reverse manufacturing means that China take existing products and check it, study it and then make that products on large scale. It reduce the cost of:

R&D

IPR

In India there is lack of global exposure in businessman. 

3. COST EFFECTIVE LABOUR

Many people think China's labour is cheap because of it's population. It is not cheap but highly productive because skill development is actually enabled over there. Their government, industry and local people put their efforts on skill development. So it has more output than India. If India's labour produce 10 mobiles in a hour then China's labour produce 50 mobiles in a hour. They are more productive. Now India is also working on skill development. 

We need skill labour to compete with China. 

4. STABILITY

Most of the clients prefer China because China is very stable. They know that in China there is a :

Stable government

Stable infrastructure

No power cut

No plumbing issues

Therefore China is more stable for global patner. Where as in India it take more money and time to setup in India. 

5. EDUCATION

Indian graduate are very less than Chinese graduate. In Chinese education they need :

Updated technology

Best management practices

Global learning practices

China is encouraging students to go to the best university. Because of that they became updated and India left outdated. So India has to work on education.
